Update

Things are in motion…

This week I wanted to share some exciting projects that are on the horizon!  Where to start? First I’ll tell you about some sewing projects I’ve got on my to do list. As you can probably guess bag projects feature heavily! There are a few ithinksew patterns that I’m going to make; the Jeannie Bag and the Pagetbag. I’m also going to be sewing some Noodlehead project’s including the Compass bag, Fika Tote and minimalist wallet. As well as the flip flops from Noodlehead’s book ‘Handmade Style’ just to mix it up a bit. I’m also in the process of making my first dress! It’s Salme’s Kimono Sleeve Dress. I’m very excited!

For those of you that love bags like I do you’ll be very excited to learn that I’m currently in the process of releasing my first two patterns! I’ve been refining these patterns for a couple of months and I’m starting to put together the instructions. And one of them will be available for free on my tutorials page!

I’ve also just created my group Pedlar Bites on Facebook! This is a little side project that will showcase all the small craft and sewing projects I try out. Also projects for around the home and maybe some cleaning tips. I’m hoping this can be a place where people share all their little tips, tricks and projects. It is still a work in progress but get on board and join the group!

Pedlar Bites

I also got some exciting news this week. I’m ranked #7 for Australian Sewing Blogs on blogspot! Obviously I would love to work my way to #1. So it’s going to be a challenge to keep moving up that ladder.

Lots of projects on the horizon so watch this space!

  1. Hi Dee,
Congratulations on your No. 7 sewing blog ranking! I love reading your posts and feel equally excited about your new projects.
I have a question for you, I’m look for a pattern for a simple evening bag, maybe a clutch bag, do you know of a site where I could find a downloadable pattern? I’ve not tried making bags before, so something that is beginner level.

      1. Thanks for the tip, the pattern looks great, I’ll give it a try and let you know how I get on!
